Hayes Beardless Barley (Hordeum vulgare):
Barley is a cool season annual cereal grain that can be used for grain production, hay & forage, erosion control, and as an inexpensive cover crop. Hayes Barley is a high-tillering, 2 row medium-tall variety with outstanding high quality forage yield potential, used primarily for hay and forage either as a mono-culture planting or in mixes. Hayes Barley is awnless (beardless) which makes it more palatable than awned varieties.
Plant at 100 lbs. per acre.
