Mid-season subterranean variety that flowers 130 days from sowing. The variety shows poor persistence under grazing or in areas of low rainfall due to its poor seed burial strength and low hardseeded percentage. However, Woogenellup is a popular hay variety due to its quick germination, erect growth habit and superior winter/spring growth.
