Safe Tall Fescue (Festuca arundinacea):

Safe Tall Fescue is an endophyte free cool season perennial grass, grown for forage.  It is widely adapted, and has a broader leaf, more heat tolerance, and more drought tolerance than ryegrass or bluegrass.  It can grow to heights of 2 to 4.5 feet. Forage Tall Fescues perform very well for pastures and hay production but most varieties are infected with endophyte which can cause health issues and poor animal performance.  Safe Tall fescue was developed as an endophyte free, improved variety, which allows farms and ranches to get the production the forage tall fescue provides with out the unwanted endophyte issues.

Plant 15 to 25 lbs. per acre, 1/4" deep
