Barrel Medic is an annual broadleaf similar to clover. Primary uses are annual pasture and reseeding cover crops for vineyards and orchards. Pararaggio Barrel Medic provides high quality grazing in annual rotational pastures with more production and persistance than subclover in low rainfall areas. When allowed to mature to seed it produces 60%-70% hardseed (Hardseededness is a mechanism of seed dormancy that allows formation of a persistent seedbank). Paraggio prefers sandy loam to clay loam soils that are pH neutral to slightly alkaline.
