Red clover is a strong taprooted biennial or short-lived perennial that produces vigorous spring and summer growth. It prefers well drained fertile soils that are neutral to slightly acidic. Kenland red clover is an erect, fine stemmed, early flowering, high quality cultivar that has been a widely used, proven performer for a long time. It is used for both pasture and Hay/silage production and also sometimes as a cover crop.
