Mammoth Red clover is a strong taprooted biennial or short-lived perennial that produces vigorous spring and summer growth.  It prefers well drained fertile soils that are neutral to slightly acidic.  Mammoth red clover is a medium red clover and matures 12-14 days earlier so you will see flowering sooner. This is a  high quality cultivar that has been a widely used, proven performer for a long time.  It is used for both pasture and Hay/silage production and also sometimes as a cover crop.  

The seed comes coated with correct type of rhizobium inoculant. 

Plant at 8 pounds per acre in pasture mixes and 12 per acre for a single stand hay crop.
