An excellent choice for use as a utility grass. This is excellent for low maintenance type of grass or turf. This choice provides food and cover for wildlife not to mention it has a hearty ability to grazed down to the bottom of the stem.  Filly Kentucky bluegrass is often found to give off a stunning blue-green color. It is also found that growing this will help build soil and give great cover as a rotation crop. In the end this helps build soils and hopefully give more productive pastures or farmland as a proper crop rotation program. It's been utilized in pastures in the Midwest for many years. It should be mixed with other grasses. It’s very persistent grass and with early spring maturation and great leaf yields. Filly Kentucky Bluegrass is rated as high yield, so this makes it great with tall growing mixes.
