These as well are giant beautiful flowers.  Grown for their incredible dark red petals they are defined by this chocolate hue. They grow to about 6-8 feet tall. These Sunflowers have a flower that is about 5 inches in diameter.  They are  great if you want to aid in pollination -they attract bees and other pollinators. These sunflowers  are  a easy to grow plant that is great in the sun and even has some drought tolerance.  The seed should be planted about 3/4- to 1 inch deep after the threat of frost has passed.  Plant in the full sun for best results. The Chocolate Cherry is known for that stunning flower with that unique color as a back border.
