Quick Cover Erosion Control is used to stabilize soil and control soil erosion. This mix is intended for Mediterranean climates like California. Like the name, it is quick to establish, but the mix also does a good job of reseeding itself. When managed properly it grows back year after year. When planting, seed should be a 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep. The seeding rate should be increased on slopes. Once seeded, the area should be covered with rice straw to hold the soil together until the seed establishes. This is just like our erosion control but its mixed our wildflower mix that gives you the characteristics of our erosion control with all the beauty and benefits of the wildflower mix. So enhanced beneficial pest and continual wildflowers as the area maintains its erosion control properties.
