This is a dark green lawn that shows well and works well with bluegrass as well. This still has great resistance to disease with new deep green color that STAYS ALL SEASON LONG . The Nexus XR is known to be a dark green variety.  The genetic rating as far as color scores is 7.6 out of 10. This makes it the best for straight or mixed seeding especially with bluegrass or tall fescue grasses. It has great  disease resistance as well. Especially with brown patch red thread or the dreaded pythium blight .
