Berseem Clover (Trifolium alexandrinum):
Berseem Clover is annual clover that is used for hay, pasture and some cover crop applications. It will not tolerate heavy frost. It produces high amounts of nitrogen and has high protein. Berseem clover is suited for multiple cuttings or grazings. Berseem clover does not typically produce hard seed and will reseed much less than other annual clovers do. It mixes well with oats, annual ryegrass or other annual clover. Best adapted to neutral to alkaline soils pH 5.5 to 8.0.
