- Exceptional forage quality and high dry matter production
- Minimal seed heads during the first year
- Ideal for multiple manure applications
Product Overview:
Green Spirit® offers exceptional quality forage for up to two years, dependent on climate and moisture availability. Its rapid regrowth and early spring development, coupled with a prolonged growing period in the fall, typically result in higher overall productivity compared to other cool-season grasses.
This blend strategically combines tetraploid and diploid Italian ryegrasses, maximizing the benefits of each. Tetraploid varieties excel in dry matter production and palatability, while diploid varieties enhance persistence, traffic tolerance, and disease resistance.
Ensuring genetic purity is a priority with Green Spirit®, guaranteeing true Italian cultivars that vernalize with cold temperatures. Whether planted in the northern or southern US, Green Spirit® offers optimal feed quality, making it a part of our esteemed NutriFiber™, Pinpoint™, and CoverGraze™ families of products.
