Ameristand 803T has excellent yields and excellent forage quality potential with its fine stems, leaf retention and dark green color.  It had the highest forage yield potential in California plot trials in Woodland, Shafter, & Holtville.  803T is a non-dormant variety with a fall dormancy rating of 8.3.
