Barley is a cool season annual cereal grain that can be used for grain production, hay & forage, erosion control, and as an inexpensive cover crop.  Belford Barley is tall variety used primarily for hay and forage either as a mono-culture planting or in mixes.  Belford Barley is awnless (beardless) which makes it more palatable than awned varieties.
